The Bainbridge Island Classic Car Cruise-In combines the love of classic automobiles with a desire to help local kids.

Open to the general public, come and enjoy cool cars and special interest vehicles or bring one of your own (no fee or advance reservation required). The car show is great family fun.

A $7.00 donation per hamburger or hot-dog meal includes water or soda. All proceeds from this event benefit “Project Backpack” at the Helpline House.

What is Project Backpack?

  • Provides essential school supplies for Bainbridge Island students in need.

  • Helps with new clothes for school students.

  • Assists with school fees.

How Can I Help?

  • Come have fun, buy a $7.00 meal, and be entered to win a nightly prize.

  • Buy a backpack and fill it with needed supplies or just donate supplies. Consider making a cash donation at the event.

  • Donate gift cards (Target, Old Navy, etc.).


Corner of Highway 305 and Madison Avenue, on the grassy fields of Bainbridge First Baptist Church. Enter from the driveway on Madison Avenue. Free parking.

The Bainbridge Island Classic Car Cruise-In takes place on the last Tuesday evening of every month from May through August between 5pm and 8pm.

2020 car show dates include:

  • May 26

  • June 30

  • July 28

  • August 25

If you would like to show a cool car or special interest vehicle, we recommend you drive-up as early as possible (show space reaches capacity within the first 30-60 minutes).


Event Information

Do I have to be a car collector to attend?

Absolutely not! Whether you have a love of classic cars, or you just want to support Project Backpack, we’d love to see you at the show. It’s fun for all!

If I just want to show up and look around, do I have to pay?

There’s no cost to attend the car show. Just show up, enjoy the outside weather, the beautiful cars, and the interesting car owners. No obligation.
